Women's soccer falls to Wisconsin

The women’s soccer team (1-1-1, 0-0 Mid-American Conference, allowed two goals in the second half to the University of Wisconsin Badgers and were never able to recover.

The Badgers defeated the Huskies 2-0, with both goals later in the second half of the game. The Badgers had 17 more shots than the Huskies.

Badgers freshman forward Cameron Murtha put Wisconsin on the board in the minute 58 when she volleyed in a goal after a Badger’s corner kick.

Junior midfielder Victoria Pickett doubled the Badgers lead in minute 71 after a ball was lobbed into the box and Pickett was able to finish it.
