The women's basketball team dropped to 3-3 in Mid-American Conference play, losing 69-53 to the red-hot Ohio University Bobcats Wednesday at the Convocation Center. The Bobcats came into the match-up riding a 12-game winning streak and are 15-1 on the season.
The game featured of the two highest ranked offenses in the MAC with the Bobcats and Huskies averaging 82.8 and 78.7 points per game respectively.
The Huskies stumbled out of the gates offensively, shooting 3-18 from the floor and managed to only score eight points in the first quarter.
Coach Lisa Carlsen talked how difficult is to come back against like the Bobcats, after not being able to score efficiently.
