The 23-year-old Florida native was chosen along with fellow 2015 teammate former Defensive End Perez Ford who signed as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders.
Lewis was selected as on of Huskie Stadium's 50 Greatest Players after starting with the Huskies in 2011. Among his highlights, he set a Huskie record by returning four kickoffs for touchdowns in his four years at NIU, according to an NIU Athletics press release.
Ford recorded the most quarterback sacks out of the team with five sacks in 2015. He was also third on the team in tackles for loss with six and a half, according to an NIU Athletics press release.
