The day may have just started, but Northern Illinois announced the signings of 22 players to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday morning.
The class includes two quarterbacks – Marcus Childers, a 6-0, 212-pound senior from Adairsville High in Georgia, and Mount Carmel signal caller Anthony Thompson, 6-0, 196. Currently, 10 of the recruits are from Illinois while five were snagged from the coveted state of Florida.
