DeKALB — Sigma Nu pulled off a shocking upset against Phi Kappa Psi Saturday to be crowned the 2019 Tugs Champions.
Fifth-year computer science major and Sigma Nu member Deven Hill said he is proud to have won the championships and was impressed with his teammates.
“It’s awesome to win — especially being the first in history,” Hill said. “We worked hard for this all semester, so it’s great to see it pay off.”
Sigma Nu started strong, taking advantage of the first rope. Phi Kappa Psi took the second rope, but Sigma Nu finished off the match, taking the third rope.
