DeKALB – Northern Illinois senior guard Chuks Iroegbu doesn't shoot a lot of 3-pointers because that's not his job for the Huskies.
Instead, Iroegbu has been valuable by playing within himself this season, providing the Huskies with efficient shooting and the little things as the team is off to their best start in years.
"He plays off the ball and he knows how to get behind the defense and then he gets an and-one," Northern Illinois coach Mark Montgomery said. "He gets something in transition and then he gets an offensive rebound. Sometimes it's the little things you do and Chuks definitely (does) that.
