Northern Illinois University women's tennis player Raven Neely is set to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Summer Championship, Aug. 13-16 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., following her success on the ITA Summer Circuit.
Earlier this month on the ITA Summer Circuit, the incoming freshman from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, reached the singles finals of events held at Western Michigan, Notre Dame and Michigan State. She also reached the doubles finals of an event held at Northwestern.
NIU women's tennis head coach Tanya Gombera expressed her anticipation for Neely to begin her career at NIU.
"I am very proud of Raven's achievements this summer," said Gombera.
