Northern Illinois junior guard Ally Lehman recorded a double-double but the Huskies fell 73-57 to Ball State on Wednesday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
Lehman led the Huskies (10-14 overall, 3-10 in MAC West) with 17 points and 11 rebounds. She tied a school record with her 17th game in which she had at least 10 rebounds.
The Huskies' two freshmen shooters struggled mightily against Ball State, which improved to 17-7 overall and 9-4 in MAC West. Mikayla Voigt had nine points on 3 for 15 shooting (2 for 9 from three) and Courtney Woods had five points on 2 for 14 shooting (1 for 9 from three).
