DEKALB – Victor E. Court was aptly named as the Northern Illinois volleyball team took care of the Ohio Bobcats to advance to the Mid-American Conference tournament title game in straight sets, 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.
The NIU attack was quite potent, boasting a .297 hitting percentage.
“Our passing was on point tonight,” senior Jenna Radtke said. “Whenever I get a kill, I am always sure to point out the passer and the setter. We were really good at setting things up all night and it showed.”
Along with a high hitting percentage, the Huskies block seemed to be impenetrable, forcing 26 Ohio attack errors over three sets.
