DeKALB – It's hard for the Northern Illinois softball pitchers to surprise senior catcher Emily Naegele anymore.

Naegele returns as an anchor behind the plate for the Huskies as they open up the season with a doubleheader in Boca Raton, Florida, on Friday – opening against Florida A&M at 1:15 p.m. before hosting Florida Atlantic at 3:30 p.m.
