The road magic finally ran out for the Northern Illinois men's basketball team.
The Huskies struggled offensively all night and fell, 65-45, Tuesday night at Buffalo, snapping a three-game road winning streak.
Coming into the game, the Huskies had wins at Toledo, Bowling Green and Kent State.
The Huskies (14-10 overall, 6-5 MAC West) struggled early and often against the Bulls, scoring a season-low 45 points. They finished shooting 18 for 56 (32.1 percent) from the field, 1 for 13 (7.7 percent) from 3-point range and 8 for 18 (44.4 percent) from the foul line.
"The first half we battled back early and we missed some layups and some easy shots," NIU coach Mark Montgomery said.
