DeKALB – The Northern Illinois men's basketball team is making a habit of four-point wins.
The Huskies led the entire second half and managed to hold on for a 62-58 victory over Miami (Ohio) on Tuesday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
It's the third time during conference play that the Huskies (12-6 overall, 4-1 in Mid-American Conference West) have eked out a four-point win – along with an 87-83 win over Central Michigan and an 77-73 overtime victory at Kent State.
"They try to take what we do well away and you just have to find a way," Northern Illinois coach Mark Montgomery said.
