The Huskies squandered a double-digit lead in the second half in their 75-71 loss at Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night, dropping their eighth straight road contest.
The Huskies (19-11 overall, 8-9 in MAC West) took a 60-45 lead on a basket by senior guard Travon Baker with 14:08 left in the second half. The next field goal for Northern Illinois came with less than a minute remaining – a layup by junior Aaric Armstead to make it 68-68 with 59 seconds remaining.
