It snapped a four-game home losing streak at Huskie Stadium, dating back to last season. They had a 28-game home winning streak at Huskie Stadium from 2009-2014.
The win also kept the hopes for a bowl game alive for the Huskies, who are now 2-6 overall and 2-2 in the MAC West.
