Northern Illinois announced on Sunday that senior quarterback Anthony Maddie is out for the season with a hairline fracture in his leg.
The injury occurred during the 45-20 win over Bowling Green on Nov. 1, which will end Maddie's career with the Huskies.
“Our hearts are broken for Anthony to see his career end this way,” Northern Illinois coach Rod Carey said. “He came in and did a great job of leading this team in MAC play, and we feel terrible for him and his family. He was playing some of the best football of his career.
