DeKALB – Northern Illinois senior running back Joel Bouagnon simply laughed on Tuesday when asked if he got jealous after quarterback Anthony Maddie rushed for four touchdowns against Buffalo the previous game.
Bouagnon had a career-high five rushing touchdowns and the Huskies kept their bowl hopes alive with a 45-20 win over Bowling Green on senior night Tuesday at Huskie Stadium.
"I don't know, I guess I had to one-up him," smiled Bouagnon, who also had 134 rushing yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry in the win.
It was the most rushing touchdowns by a Huskie since Garrett Wolfe scored five in 2005.
