Northern Illinois running back Joel Bouagnon's big day against Bowling Green earned him some well-garnered attention.
The senior had five rushing touchdowns against the Falcons and was named a Mid-American Conference West co-Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Bouagnon had 134 rushing yards to go with his five touchdowns in the 45-20 victory and he shared the award with Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis, who had 12 catches for 272 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Ball State.
The five rushing touchdowns were the most since Garrett Wolf did it in 2005 and Bouagnon moved into seven place in NIU career rushing scores with 32.
