DeKALB — Men’s tennis began its weekend matches Friday and lost to the Butler University Bulldogs, 7-0.
Head Coach Patrick Fisher said he felt this match was a complete team loss.
“Today was a reality check for our team,” Fisher said according to NIU Media Services. “There was nothing positive about today. We got outcoached, outplayed and everything else that could have happened. We put ourselves in a hole today. Tomorrow is a new day, today is over, we get a chance to turn it around, and I’m anxious to see how we respond.”
Butler was in control of every match from the start winning.
