DeKALB — The men’s tennis team dropped their third Mid-American Conference match of the season when they lost to Western Michigan University Friday.
With Friday’s loss, the Huskies have been swept in a two-match conference series this season and are winless against Western Michigan since the 2014-15 season when NIU edged the Broncos 4-3 in a home conference match.
NIU fell 1-6 to the Broncos, making it the third time this season the Huskies have put up only one point in a match.
The first matchup for both teams saw the Broncos shutout the Huskies 0-7 on March 16 in NIU’s first conference match of the season.
