The Huskies improved their team score in each round played, finishing with a total of 310 in Tuesday’s final round of the tournament.
NIU was led by junior Joo-Young Lee, who had an impressive three-day total of 225. Lee (74, 77, 74) finished tied for fourth place overall in the individual standings for the tournament. It was Lee’s second top-five finish in the last two outings.
“I’m just trying to minimize mistakes and take it one shot at a time,” Lee said. “My putting has gotten a little bit better and my short game has improved overall.
