The Northern Illinois wrestling team lost at No. 23 Ohio 23-10 on Friday in a dual moved up two hours due to an impending blizzard.
At 141 pounds, Steve Bleise – ranked15th in the country, picked up a 5-2 win. Gabe Morse scored a 12-3 major decision at 149 and Arthur Bunce had the third Huskie win, 2-0 at heavyweight.
“We’re looking for better execution. We had opportunities to win matches that we dropped,” coach Ryan Ludwig said. “Arthur Bunce did have a very nice performance and a hard-fought win. He was certainly ready to win. We’ll be back working hard now in preparation for Eastern Michigan.
