The Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago Cubs in game three of the World Series on Friday night at Wrigley Field in Chicago, as they take a 2-1 series lead heading into game four Saturday night.
The Indians were led by their skilled starter Josh Tomlin, who allowed only two hits in 4.2 scoreless innings pitched.
"For me, it was all about just trying to keep [the Cubs hitters] guessing and keep them off balance as much as I could," Tomlin said.
This is the kind of starting performance that the Indians need to get wins, as they rely heavily on their two relief pitchers Andrew Miller and Cody Allen to close out ballgames.
