DeKALB – The Northern Illinois men's basketball team just had to wait for Central Michigan to stop making everything.
The Huskies erased a 14-point first half deficit and stormed to a 75-70 win over the Chippewas on Tuesday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
Northern Illinois senior guard Travon Baker scored a team-high 19 points with five rebounds and four assists in the victory.
In an 83-69 loss at Western Michigan, Baker was ejected five minutes into the game for a flagrant-2 foul. Freshman Marshawn Wilson and sophomores Andrew Zelis and Jordan Thomas were also ejected for leaving the bench after the scuffle that ensued following Baker's hard foul.
