DeKalb — The men’s basketball team combatted its recent two-game losing streak with a resounding 31-point win Tuesday over the Bowling Green University Falcons. This win comes after the Huskies fell to the Falcons in Ohio earlier this season.
The Huskies (10-10, 3-4 Mid-American Conference) took an 18-17 lead with just under 10 minutes left to play in the first half and never looked back. NIU led by as much as 39 points and went on to win the game 93-62.
Head Coach Mark Montgomery said it was relieving to get a win after a recent slump.
