Huskies drop a double-header to Austin Peay

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - After picking up a pair of wins on its weekend road trip, the baseball team dropped a pair of games to Austin Peay in a Sunday doubleheader.

In total, the Huskies gave up 23 runs over the two games, with one being called early due to the mercy rule.

Game 1-Governors 15, Huskies 3 (seven innings)

The Huskies found themselves down early when Austin Peay junior catcher Parker Phillips hit a two-run homer in the first.

Phillips would homer again in the third, bringing in two more runs, and a third time in the fifth inning.
