Freshman forward Jaylen Key got the Huskies off to a good start with an early six points. Judson had hit four threes with 11:50 in the half but it wasn't enough to keep up with NIU. The Huskies led 53-30 at halftime.
NIU pulled away completely in the second half. The team led 81-39 with 7:34 remaining and had outscored Judson 29-9 up to that point in the half.
Freshman wing Levi Bradley finished with his first career double-double, collecting a career-high 19 points and a career-best 11 rebounds to lead the Huskies.
Junior guard Aaric Armstead and freshman guard Laytwan Porter both contributed 12 points.
