The gymnastics team beat the Eastern Michigan University Eagles in its meet on the road Friday, marking the first time this season they have earned wins in back-to-back weeks.
The Huskies third win on the season was scored 195.425-194.900 in favor of NIU and was the second time they broke the 195 point threshold this year.
Morreale said he felt his team fought through adversity and was able to get through that to come out on top.
“I didn’t see anything different, we were just more comfortable.” Morreale said. “We had a little bit of a rough start on bars, and I think that made the girls a little bit angry.
