DeKALB – DeKalb girls soccer coach PJ Hamilton said he liked the scoring chances his Barbs had in the first half on Tuesday's season opener against Belvidere North.
He just felt they needed to be more "dangerous," and in the second half he got his wish as the Barbs scored twice for a 2-0 win over the Blue Thunder.
"I thought we made some good adjustments at halftime and created some more dangerous opportunities," Hamilton said. "I thought we did a good job in the first half in creating opportunities, but the dangerous opportunities I thought were more valid in the second half.
