The Cubs ended their 108-year World Series drought with an 8-7 win in game seven of the World Series against the Cleveland Indians in a game that saw a rain delay and extra innings.
The Cubs had a 6-3 lead heading into the eighth inning with starting pitcher Jon Lester on the mound when Indians second baseman Jose Ramirez hit an infield single.
