DeKALB – In the six previous games against Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois senior guard Travon Baker made a combined six 3-pointers.
On Saturday, the Detroit native eclipsed that total in one game.
Baker continued his strong season behind the arc by hitting seven 3-pointers in the Huskies' 80-63 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
"It's an amazing feeling and not because of the 3-point shots, just because of the fact we won by 17," said Baker, who had a game-high 25 points while shooting 7 for 11 on threes. "We've only beat Eastern once or twice since I've been here all four years.
