DeKALB – Maybe this year's freshmen for the Northern Illinois men's basketball team are a little spoiled.
While the Huskies are off to a 12-2 start to open the season, senior point guard Travon Baker remembers a different kind of season his freshman year – when Northern Illinois finished a measly 5-25.
"I was here when we had our five-win year, so I know how it feels to go out and want to win every night and you keep losing," said Baker, who has now played in 106 career games in his four years with the Huskies.
