DENTON -- North Texas is in the midst of a new start under coach Seth Littrell and his largely revamped staff this fall.
But that doesn't mean UNT has forgotten recent history, especially not this week as the Mean Green prepare for their game against Bethune-Cookman at 6 p.m. Saturday at Apogee Stadium.
The Wildcats are the first Football Championship Subdivision team UNT has faced since Portland State rolled into Apogee a year ago and hammered UNT 66-7.
The Mean Green are determined to avoid anything resembling a repeat when they face the Wildcats, who will receive a $400,000 payout for making the trip from Daytona Beach, Fla.
