UNIVERSITY PARK - A week after leaving the field with fairly clean jersey, SMU quarterback Ben Hicks dealt with a lot of pressure in the Mustangs’ win over UNT.
Hicks was hurried seven times and sacked twice in the first three quarters of the victory. The redshirt sophomore was visibly frustrated with his offensive linemen after the second sack, in which UNT linebacker E.J. Ejiya came through the middle of the line untouched to make the play.
Overall, it was not a great game for the SMU offensive line, which struggled to create holes in the run game.
