SMU will return to the football field on Tuesday as the Mustangs prepare for the upcoming fall season.
The Mustangs, led by third-year coach Chad Morris, will start spring practice on Tuesday. Last December, Morris was given a three-year contract extension through the 2023 season after the Mustangs went 5-7 last season.
SMU's spring practice will conclude with an intrasquad scrimmage on April 8. North Texas started spring ball on Monday and Texas A&M is slated to start its practices on Wednesday.
