Golden State Warriors rookie center James Wiseman suffered a tear to the meniscus in his right knee and could miss the rest of the season, sources told ESPN.
Wiseman, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, underwent imaging Sunday for an injury suffered on Saturday night. Further consultation with doctors is expected to result with a plan of action on the injury and a timeline for return, sources told ESPN.
Wiseman suffered the injury in the second quarter of Saturday's victory over Houston when he elevated for a dunk and landed awkwardly after Rockets forward Kenyon Martin Jr.
