When: 6:00 p.m. Saturday
Records: UNT (1-0); SMU (1-0)
TV: ESPN3
What's on the line?
It's a rivalry game, so these two teams should expect a good energy in Ford Stadium on Saturday. SMU has been dominant in this series, winning 30 out of the 36 all-time meetings including the two since Chad Morris took over the Mustangs.
But both teams look much-improved from last year. A win for either will give some credibility to their non-conference records, unlike the last couple of seasons. In the end, though, it comes down to bragging rights for alumni throughout the Metroplex, like any good rivalry game.
