Former DeSoto and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Zachary Orr announced his retirement in January because of a congenital spinal condition that would make it dangerous to continue playing. It was the smart thing to do, but obviously a difficult thing to do when you're only 24 years old and you just made 132 tackles in a season.
In June, Orr announced that he actually might play again. He loves football and he wanted to play.
Well, now we know that's not going to happen. Orr made that clear in his Players Tribune article that published today.
