1. MASON FINE -- Junior QB, 5-11, 185 pounds
2017 stats: 324 for 511 passing for 4,052 yards, 31 TDs and 15 INTs in 14 starts
Notable: Fine guided UNT to the Conference USA West Division title and an appearance in the New Orleans Bowl in his first full season as a starter. The Oklahoma native was named the C-USA Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 and is expected to be among the top players in the league again this season.
