CARY, N.C. – The University of North Carolina cross country teams will compete in the Adidas XC Challenge on Friday. The men’s team will get their first action of the year while the women are looking to stay undefeated after winning the Hokie Invite.
Running in the men’s race is Mark Derrick, Stephen Mulherin, Chris Madaffari, Joe Sansone, Mitch Mcleod, Logan Carroll, John Stoney, and Mike Higgins. The race will be a 5K at the WakeMed Soccer Park’s cross country course. The men are scheduled to follow the women’s 5K race, which starts at 5:30 p.
