LAS VEGAS, NEV. - Eight members of the North Carolina wrestling program are heading to Las Vegas this week, to partake in the 2023 US Open.
The US Open is a key event in the freestyle schedule, used to finalize the field for the 2023 United State World Team, which will compete at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
Beginning tomorrow at Noon eastern, Cade Lautt (97 KG) and Aydin Guttridge (130 KG) are set to begin the Senior Greco Roman portion of competition on Wednesday and Thursday.
Six Tar Heels will represent the Tar Heel Wrestling Club in the U20 freestyle division.
