Seattle, Wash. – The Tar Heels are headed to the Championship Match! No. 2 Carolina earned a 4-2 victory over No. 3 Texas A&M in the Semifinals of the 2023 ITA Division I National Women's Team Indoor Championships at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
The Tar Heels dropped the first match of the 2023 dual season 4-2 to Texas A&M in the semifinals of 2023 ITA Division I National Women's Team Indoor Championships. For the first time this season, the Tar Heels dropped the doubles point as the No. 3 Branstine/Stoiana from Texas A&M defeated Brantmeier/Scotty 6-1. The Texas A&M pairing of Ewing/Goldsmith defeated Crawley/Tanguilig 6-3 to clinch the 1-0 lead for the Aggies.
