CARY, N.C. – After three rounds of qualifying, two Tar Heels qualified for the ITA Women's All-American Championship Main Draw on Tuesday.
Elizabeth Scotty and Anika Yarlagadda each recorded victories while teammate Reilly Tran fell in the round of 64.
Scotty later decided to walkover, ending her run.
In the singles consolation bracket, three Tar Heels bounced back after losses yesterday. Abbey Forbes and freshman Thea Rabman each recorded straight-set victories while Carson Tanguilig picked up a hard-fought three set win. Junior Lindsey Zink dropped her consolation bracket matchup.
