The North Carolina women’s tennis team opens its 2016 fall schedule this weekend at the Bonk Invitational, held at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
No stranger to the venue, the Tar Heels won the 2016 ACC Championship on this site back in May.
Carolina is expected to have eight of its players in action to open up the new season.
The schedule begins with doubles on Friday morning at 9 a.m.
Freshmen Sara Daavettila and Makenna Jones will debut with the Tar Heels in the “white” bracket against Camille Favero and Hunter Bleser of Virginia.
