CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina announced the promotional schedule for the 2022 women's soccer season. The Tar Heels will nine matches, plus two additional exhibition games, at Dorrance field featuring 2021 NCAA Tournament runner-up BYU and ACC regular season champion Virginia along with PAC-12 champion UCLA and SEC winner Tennessee. This year's schedule is highlighted by a variety of promotions including Mental Health Awareness Night, Alumni Night and Mia Hamm bobblehead giveaway.
The Tar Heels open their exhibition season Sunday against VCU at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
