Like it or not, as of today the ACC is officially an 18-team league.
Stanford and Cal-Berkeley officially join the ranks of the Atlantic Coast Conference today, after SMU joined at the beginning of last month. While not everyone is happy that they are on board—and they really won’t be happy when the travel starts—this is a fact of life now. As such, while the other fifteen schools are now familiar with life in this conference, the other three might need some quick help so they look like they belong quickly.
Here’s perhaps the biggest thing they’ll need to learn: there is no conference pride to speak of.
