MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina - Destinee Walker scored a season-high 25 points to pace North Carolina to an 87-57 victory over Jacksonville on Tuesday night from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
North Carolina (9-2) shot a season-best 53.4 percent from the field. Stephanie Watts had 18 points, and both Jamie Cherry and Hillary Fuller each tossed in 10.
Sherranda Reddick had 18 points to lead Jacksonville (9-3).
Limited to a season-low two points on Sunday in the loss to LSU, Walker asserted herself nicely with five points in the first quarter.
