CHAPEL HILL – Carolina softball head coach Donna J. Papa is pleased to announce the return of Tar Heels Aquilla Mateen and Elly Wagner to the Carolina softball program as members of the coaching staff. Mateen, who graduated last May with a degree in exercise and sports science, will serve as the volunteer assistant coach for 2016-17. Wagner is currently completing her undergraduate business degree with a semester abroad in the Netherlands and will join the team as its director of operations when she returns in January.
