CHAPEL HILL - Virginia scored two goals in the second half to earn a come-from-behind, 2-1, victory over No. 4 North Carolina on Friday night from Fetzer Field.
North Carolina (8-2-1, 3-1-1 ACC) broke through first with a goal in the 37th minute. David October delivered a perfect cross into the box and Walker Hume redirected the ball with his head into the net for his fourth goal of the season.
The Tar Heels took their lead into halftime, and the advantage remained until Virginia scored on a header from Pablo Aguilar in the 53rd minute.
