GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC junior Aranza Vazquez won her second career 3-meter springboard title in three years Tuesday at the 2023 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. She won the event as a freshman in 2021 before capturing the bronze in 2022.
Vazquez won the title with 381.85 points to finish 14.65 points of ahead of runner-up Mia Vallee of Miami with 367.20 points.
UNC senior Emily Grund captured the bronze medal in the event with a final tally of 350.90 points. It was her first ACC medal since capturing the silver medal in the platform competition as freshman in 2019.
