North Carolina's Alyssa Ustby has capped a successful women's basketball season on the court with academic honors. The Tar Heel guard/forward from Rochester, Minn., has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, announced Tuesday by the league.
Ustby, who has not yet declared a major, earned the All-ACC Academic honor for the second year in a row.
Carolina finished the 2021-22 season 25-7 and reached the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2015. During the course of that memorable campaign, Ustby led the Tar Heels in rebounding with 8.6 boards per game, fourth in the ACC.
